2024 has been a landmark year for CRS Custom, and as the year draws to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on our biggest accomplishment—our new, state-of-the-art 15,000-square-foot facility. Officially opened in May, this space represents a major leap forward in our ability to serve our customers with speed, precision, and unparalleled convenience. While we’ve shared highlights of this exciting development throughout the year, today we’d like to dive deeper into the incredible capabilities and features our new facility has to offer.
Winter in Michiana often means braving freezing temperatures and snowy conditions. That’s why we’ve introduced drive-through estimates, allowing you to stay warm and comfortable in your car while we assess your vehicle. Simply drive in, and our expert team will handle the rest, using advanced equipment to provide precise and efficient evaluations.
One standout feature in our drive-through area is the Hunter’s Quick Check Wheel Alignment System, which we offer free of charge. This system provides rapid, accurate alignment checks, helping us identify any potential issues quickly and saving you valuable time.
Inside our facility, we’ve doubled the number of lifts compared to our previous space, significantly improving our ability to handle repairs efficiently. Among these new additions is the Hunter Inground 16,000-Pound Lift with Built-In Wheel Lifts. This lift retracts flush with the ground, making it ideal for working on low-clearance vehicles and ensuring precise bodywork.
We’ve also added the American Freedom 20,000-Pound Triple Tower 22-Foot Frame Rack, a robust tool for unibody and frame straightening. Alongside this, our trusted Chief Easy Liner 2 continues to provide exceptional results for frame repairs. Together, these tools ensure that no matter the size or scope of the damage, we’re equipped to restore your vehicle to its original condition.
For wheel services, our Coats Wheel Balancer helps us provide accurate balancing for a smoother, safer drive. These advanced tools, paired with our skilled technicians, mean faster repairs without compromising quality.
For custom paintwork, our facility features new oversized Down Draft Paint Booths and a Down Draft Double Prep Station, capable of accommodating extended vans, high-top vehicles, and work trucks up to 24 feet in length. These booths ensure a controlled environment for flawless finishes, regardless of the vehicle’s size.
When it comes to color matching, we use Axalta Cromax XP Paint paired with expert paint-matching technology to achieve precise results. Whether restoring your car’s original color or creating a custom look, we guarantee a stunning finish that will last for years to come.
